1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing or using DocLensr (the “App”), developed by ISTACK DEVELOPMENT (“we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply together with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the two conflict, Apple's standard agreement prevails on the points it covers.
2. What the App does
DocLensr lets you scan documents with your iPhone camera, crop and enhance pages, cover sensitive information, organize documents and export them as PDF files.
3. Free features and DocLensr Pro
You can capture and edit pages for free. Saving documents to your library requires an active DocLensr Pro entitlement, available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency before you buy.
4. Subscriptions and payments
- Monthly and annual plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you chose.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that does not renew.
- You can restore previous purchases from the purchase screen in the App.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its standard policy — please submit them at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly.
5. Your documents
Your scans and documents belong to you. They are stored on your device and we do not receive or access them — see our Privacy Policy. You are solely responsible for the documents you scan, for having the right to copy them, and for how you store and share them.
6. Redaction and accuracy
The redaction tool draws opaque boxes over parts of a page. It is a convenience: always review the final result before sharing a document, and keep the original safe. We are not responsible for information that remains visible because a box was not placed over it.
Scans made with the App are digital copies. Some institutions may not accept them as certified or official copies, and image quality depends on lighting, camera and how the page was captured.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful purposes, including copying or forging documents you are not entitled to copy, and not to reverse engineer, decompile or modify the App or interfere with its purchase mechanisms.
8. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code and text, is the property of ISTACK DEVELOPMENT and is protected by copyright law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it on your Apple devices.
9. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISTACK DEVELOPMENT is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of documents or data (including through deleting the App, device loss or failure), or decisions made on the basis of scanned material. Keep your own backups of important documents.
10. Changes and termination
We may update the App or these Terms at any time; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly, and continued use means you accept the changes. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved amicably where possible, otherwise by the competent courts in Romania, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
